walking downtown, i walked by a cute girl rockin these 9s with a matching blue hoody. i literally stopped dead in my tracks and watched her walk away. atop of all the Jordans, the 9s have the most sentimental value for me. i remember watchin a playground hero of mine straight up wreckin these 5 tall black guys, whilst rocking these. right then and there, i knew i wanted em badly. years later, i'd cop these retros. like a retard, i sold the french blue/grey flint (left) but still have the cool greys (right).

fyi, performance-wise they suck ass in ball. they have no traction/grip. my worst ankle sprain in life happened wearing the cool greys. but damn, they sure are pretty.

been a month since my last post, so busy settling into my summer plans. im back in vancouver for the summer in hopes of finding an internship for school, but could only find a summer job in data entry to help pay the bills. so far, so good: been playing ball, reading at the beach, marble slab ice cream, playing with my baby nephews, concrete adventuring, eating well, night market-ed, ice cream bubble tea, mowing lawns, washing dishes, and thinkin bout my future. you know, same ol' ish.

spent my saturday afternoon playing a prissy paul bunyan of the suburbs...
via craigslist (<3), found free wood,
trucked it with my accent, wheelbarrelled it with my recycling bin,
and with a beer in hand,
i axed em to size with my dad's power tools.
...
i am soo manly.

forgive the weak photos, i forgot to use a filter.

cause my life is just that interesting right now...

inspired by my sister' participation last year, and in memory of my moms,
did my part this year and ran montreal's cibc run for the cure.
it was gray and cloudy, but warm enough and most importantly, rain free.
special thanks to all those who supported me through donations!
